Services We Offer:

Specialist Court Assessments

We are able to provide robust and analytical assessments for both the public and private law arena. This includes S.7 reports as well as complex or issue specific risk assessments.

Parenting Capacity Assessments (inc. ParentAssess)

Our Parenting Capacity Assessments are dynamic, and child centred aiming to provide robust analysis and clear recommendations to manage the risk faced by the child. We assess based on the “here and now” and also the parent’s ability to apply parenting advice and guidance through the child’s minority ensuring their needs are met in the immediate future and throughout their childhood.

Supervised and Supported Contact

Supervised and Supported Contact can be undertaken on a standalone basis or as part of a specialist Court assessment. We can offer daytime, evening and weekend contact and provide clear and robust reporting which is suitable to be used as evidence within Court proceedings.

Family Group Conferences/ Family Network Meetings

We are able to organise and facilitate family group conferences and network meetings either as standalone events or as part of a programme of meetings. This includes preparation, logistics and reporting following on from the event. FGC/FNM can be organised to suit the needs of the family including evenings and weekends and can be face to face and hybrid depending on need.

Direct Work with Children and Families.

Our workers are experienced in building therapeutic relationships with children and their families and use a wide variety of techniques and resources in order to create a therapeutic space in which to work. We work with families who have experienced issues of separation and loss, those who have experienced domestic/ familial abuse as well those who have been exposed to drug and/or alcohol misuse. We can work specifically with the child, or with the family as a whole but ensuring that the child’s needs remain the focus of our work.

It was nice to feel heard

I wasn’t thrilled at having to work with another social worker but it was so refreshing to have honest conversations about what was going on for us. Stacy put me at ease, didn’t judge me, didn’t tell me she knew better but listened and gave me and the kids the space to feel heard.
